Angie, couldn’t agree with you more about the album as a whole, cutting and pasting tracks from this one and his last could make for a great Manson album, but unfortunately, HEOTL just isn’t one on its own. Not too psyched about the “w/Slayer” part of this tour either.

I had a much different opinion on the demo tracks. I still reckon that Twiggy is the best thing to happen in the past few years :P especially after the terrible release of Eat Me Drink Me... Thanks for the link though, I hadn't heard Devour yet.

Thank you for this post! Sorry for commenting out of the blue but I found your blog through a google search for Sophie B. Hawkins. You’ve got amazing pictures supporting your review of the concert. I just wish I had been there. You almost made a shiver go down my spine with your post, cuz I’ve always wanted to meet the talented and passionate artist, Sophie. I envy you for having had the chance to do that.

I agree with you on everything you say of Sophie, she truly deserves to be compared to Janis Joplinand Ani DiFranco, and she should definitely be more appreciated by the press and the music business, cuz you know, I’ve never had the opportunity to see her live… That is because I don’t think that she tours anywhere near to my country, Finland, and I don’t think that too many people here in Finland know her or her music.

But anyways best wishes!
